Female Sleuths in Mystery Novels
http://www.squidoo.com/female-sleuth-mystery-novels
Submitted by BevsPaper 3 months, 1 day, 8 hours ago
There is little that I enjoy more than to sit down with a good book in my hand and escape for a little while. My genre of choice is the mystery novel and I particularly enjoy the books written with a female sleuth. She can be an actual detective, a private detective, forensic pathologist, or just a woman who loves to solve a mystery. Her occupation doesn't matter to me at all; it is the way she goes about solving the mystery that intrigues me. Join discussion...

Hiking My Way To A Novel

Submitted by Ramkitten 3 months, 3 days, 12 hours ago
On September 25th, 2000, I completed a six-month journey from one end of the Appalachian Trail to the other, a 2,175-mile walk from Georgia to Maine otherwise known as a thru-hike. Along the way, I embarked on another type of journey, a creative adventure which led to my first published novel, called I. Joseph Kellerman; although, the story has nothing to do with backpacking or the trail I was on when I wrote the first draft. Join discussion...

Oil Painting Supplies For Beginners

Submitted by francez 3 months, 3 weeks, 16 hours ago
There are so many wonderful oil painting products available in the market today and, often, beginners are tempted to buy everything they can find. However, to begin oil painting, you will only need a few basic supplies. You can start oil painting with a couple of paintbrushes, a limited range of colors and a few pieces of canvas or support. Then, as you gain experience and more confidence, you may just expand your artist's tools later Join discussion...
